Who are Archery Rampage?

Part of Red Frog Archery, a company specialising in the supply of retail and wholesale archery equipment. Established 2005.

Archery Rampage TM combines archery with dodge ball for all ages to enjoy the world of combat team sport! Archery Rampage combines the intensity and excitement of dodge-ball or paint-ball while using the skill-set for archery, using specially designed foam tipped arrows.

Unlike Paintball, the arrows do not hurt on contact and don’t leave welts, bruises, or marks, making it fun and safe for players of all ages and genders. Best of all - its mess free and can be played indoors as well as out.

Two teams battle to be the first team to knock out all the centers of their opposing team's 5-spot target. Inflatable bunkers on both sides of the field add to the challenge of the game as players strategically move between them while trying to “tag” other players with the arrows. The game ends in one of 3 ways: all of an opposing team's members have been tagged, all the 5-spots have been eliminated on an opponent's target, or a set time limit has passed. If the game ends because the time frame has expired, then the team with the least amount of center- spots knocked out wins.

Q. How long does it take to set up for an event?

A. Allow at least one hour with 2 people setting up for an event with 10 players per side. Each inflatable bunker takes on average 3 mins to fully inflate, if the event is outdoors they will also need to be positioned and tethered using tent pegs. Bows will need to be strung and masks cleaned ready for use. Game area will also need to be marked out and participants briefed on using the equipment.

Q. What draw weight of bow is best?

A. To cover the largest spectrum of users we normally issue 22lbs draw weight bows. These can be used by 12 years+ The draw weight is measured at 28" draw which would be an average adult draw length, juniors cannot pull back as far so the draw weight will reduce. 26lbs bows are available however smaller participants may struggle with this level of draw weight.

Q. Do participants have to wear masks?

A. Although the arrows are low impact, we would always recommend the use of masks at all times. The masks do not just protect eyes but also face and throat. For glasses wears we have an extra wide mask to accommodate frames. See our section on steralisation of equipment

Q. Can I customise my inflatable bunkers?

A. Yes we can manufacture bunkers to a wide range of colours and have them printed with your own artwork and / or text.
